The Los Angeles Public Library system serves the residents of the City of Los Angeles. With more than six million volumes, it serves the largest population of any publicly funded library system in the United States.
Primeview helped deploy a seamless LED wall (PRVLEDCUS39) controlled by Primeview’s Level 6 LED Control System (PRVLEDCONTROL6) and converted the libraries previous paper signage over to digital signage software. Now, they can easily gain an audience from a central location to keep their patrons updated on library events and news while displaying signage, updates and other graphics.
CUNY TV, part of The City University of New York’s university system, refers to themselves as “Intelligent Television”, as they provide telecourse programming varying from mathematics and biology to history and art. It also shows many old and foreign films. CUNY TV can be seen on PBS in HD.
Shows such as “Science goes to the Movies”, are in a mini studio that is designed to depict a mini movie theater. Guests are brought in to discuss different scientific topics from films like Interstellar and The Theory of Everything. During the show the talent is seated on red velveted chairs arranged in rows with a visual aid backdrop of two 2×2 Primeview video walls and an 84″ large format 4K display that ties the show together.
NBC Focus Features makes, acquires and releases movies from rising and established talent and filmmakers. Focus Features is part of NBCUniversal, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience.
As the company moves forward with a diverse slate of wide releases appealing to a range of moviegoers, they decided to innovate their headquarters based in Los Angeles, California. The broadcast production studio can be a key asset in an overall fan engagement strategy for sports teams. Specifically, it can create unique fan engagement opportunities unlike any other and provide real value for sports campuses as part of new facility construction.
Primeview was selected to provide the display technology for the entire studio. The new studio was inspired by a twist on the station’s “diagrid” graphics package as a primary design motif.
The anchor desk, which has been changed to a circular design, is situated in front of one of the set’s multiple video panel setups, a curved video wall created using vertically mounted video screens from Primeview.
During most news segments, this video wall is filled with a stylized cityscape that includes animated diagonal lines as well as hints of the diagrid itself, but it can also be used for topical, branding and breaking news.
Additional video panel configurations include a rectangular array as well as a side-by-side arrangement that creates a sort of ribbon shape.
Most of the set’s areas are designed to be used in multiple ways, whether it be for weather reports, anchor desk shots, standups or interview segments using the studio’s movable sofa setup.

The new set is centered around a circular anchor desk backed with a wide span of vertically mounted video panels used to showcase stylized cityscape imagery as well as additional multipurpose video walls, with technology from Primeview. An array of Primeview 55” Video Wall Display (PRV55SNG01URSDI) was installed into the studio. This 24/7 rated, 4K display features super narrow 3.5mm total gap.
The printed backgrounds around the set also feature color changing technology, which KCRA uses to color its walls in bright shades of yellows, golds and other shades that coordinate with the station’s blue, gold and red group graphics package.

RT America is a TV channel that is based in Washington, D.C. RT America is part of the RT network, which is a global multilingual television news network that is based in Moscow, Russia. It is the most-watched news network on YouTube having slightly under 200 million views.
RT’s advancements in the broadcast world created an immediate need for a more robust display in the backdrop of their studio. Their complete studio renovation consisted of 21 units of Primeview’s Snello, creating one large display for the studio backdrop. With the help of BDI, Primeview Transformed RT’s news production workflow into an agile, advanced, high definition studio with the ability to scale based on business and production needs.

Firekeepers Casino Hotel is a 236,000 square feet casino and hotel located in Emmett Charter Township, Michigan. Known for their supreme gaming center and restaurants, Firekeepers recently expanded offering an eight-story hotel, featuring 242 rooms, and an Event Center for concerts, weddings, meetings and conventions.
The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi was looking for a way to visually enhance the patron experience in the new Event Center and wanted to bring in higher level acts to accomplish that goal. The challenge was that it was needed as quickly as possible. These new panels bridge the value of older technologies (robust colors) in a new skinny format. Unlike older video wall displays with gaps of 20mm, these new plasmas have under a 2mm gap from active area to area. Primeview and SVT provided the Casino with a top of the line video wall with robust color accuracy, wide viewing angles, and ISC anti burn in features. Today, these screens can now be seen at BRIONI retail stores, ESPN broadcast studios, and more

Over the past 18 months, NBC News has transformed the 4th floor of 30 Rockefeller Center into a 12,000 square foot media center, which consolidates the entire news organization onto one floor. This move signals a fundamental shift towards emerging editorial resources as well as an intent to formally reveal the behind the scenes machinery of making the news. As built, the entire facility is an open landscape that can become a backdrop for live on- air broadcast and multi-platform distribution.
A 900 square foot multi- functional studio is included in the master plan and will service the entire franchise. Much like an archaeological discovery, the design evolved from peeling away multiple renovations to reveal the original bones of the building, both structurally and materially: steel columns, piping, and electrical equipment are exposed, and the open perimeter brick wall exhibits the authentic provenance of 30 Rock. Simultaneously contrasting historically traditional aesthetics with a more modernist vocabulary, details within the space are focused on reinforcing a brand narrative that voices a respect for history but resolutely shows a determination to be a leader in a quickly changing industry.

KCBS-TV, the CBS O&O in Los Angeles, has debuted a new set from Broadcast Design International. This set is the perfect combination of a light and airy feel accompanied by strong elements.
The centerpiece of the set is a gently curving anchor desk framed with thick silver frame that houses a glass dimensional logo and two large video walls.
The 5×3 and 3×3 video wall arrays are made up of Primeview 55″ IPS LED LCD monitors, specifically designed for uniform video wall configurations.
This gives CBS news a more modernized, fresh, and advanced look and will keep viewers intrigued while keeping their roots and traditions involved.

Houston TranStar is a unique partnership of four government agencies. Representatives from the City of Houston, Harris County, METRO, andTxDOT who share resources and exchange information under one roof to keep motorists informed, roadways clear, and lives safe in the fourth most populated city in the United States.
Established in 1993, TranStar manages the region’s transportation system and is the primary coordination site for state, county, and local agencies when responding to incidents and emergencies. They are responsible for keeping more than 3,000 miles of roadway moving for the areas where there are nearly 5 million registered vehicles and responding to nearly 230 traffic accidents every day.
Because of their critical role in keeping commerce moving, the lobby room of Houston Transtar headquarters was renovated to the highest technology standards. ITECH systems added visual aid by installing multiple units of 6×3 and 3×3 Primeview videowall solutions. The large display solution enhances team collaboration with the ability to bring real-world scenarios by using multimedia content and dynamic interactivity and welcoming guests with a pleasing aesthetic. Greater Houston Partnership is a non-profit organization for community-minded business leaders who want to be involved in Houston’s influence and direction. Through the dedicated efforts of their members, the Partnership addresses Houston’s unique challenges, and champions the growth and success of the region. Since 1840, they have served over 1,200 member companies in the 11-county Houston region including Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Walker and Waller counties.
Their corporate building lobby was renovated with a 1×8 portrait video wall adjacent to another 1×11 portrait video wall. Primeview made sure that the displays fit into the overall contemporary design of the corporate office with PRV55SNG01UR; showcasing their executive partners, a brief company overview for visitors, photos, and much more.
EQT is one of the United States of America’s largest gas producers. Not every company can say it mixes the experience and strength of an organization that has been in the natural gas industry for nearly 130 years with the attitude and innovation of a startup, but EQT does just that.
When remodeling their offices, located in Pittsburgh, EQT pursued the highest level of excellence, efficiency, and clear imagery. Together with integrator SoundCom and set designers from TAD Associates, Primeview deployed a PRV984KLED. The KLED is situated in the main room of the office space (see photos below). All 98 inches of the screen displays multimedia information useful for meetings, conferences, basic information updating employees, and much more.
KRIV, the FOX O&O in Houston, Texas, has debuted their new studio. The set includes a massive 3×6 striking array that showcases a majority of the on-air backdrop.
This array was set to be a story telling background for newscasters, with its end result being a “state-of-the-art contemporary and colorful studio set”.

The North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) branch in Manhasset is an 806-bed teaching hospital. The hospital is one of the cornerstones of North Shore-LIJ Health System and is academically affiliated with the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine, employing a staff of more than 6,000 employees, and provides a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children.

The studio’s brand-new look features a circular standing anchor desk at its heart. The design features metal and printed graphic layers featuring the Hearst diagrid, as well as a sleek glass top. The studio design paid close attention to its color scheme by giving an airy feel for its close ties to the water, but also implementing heaviness by adding more industrial elements that play homage to the city’s more modern touches.
Placed on a diagonal in this space is a freestanding 2×2 flat screen array from Primeview flanked by frosted panels on both the sides and above.
To the far left of the space is a multi-functional area that includes the option to be used as both an interview set as well as stand-ups — both of which can take advantage of the larger video wall here, also from Primeview.
WDSU, Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate in New Orleans, has officially debuted its new home.
Collaborating with the creative, news and engineering teams at WDSU resulted in a high tech set that incorporates nods to “gritty mystical soul” of the city. The studio’s anchor desk references to the soul start at the set’s centerpiece.
The desk and its curved LED panel is configured in a crescent shape — a nod to the city’s location on a bend of the Mississippi River and the origin of one of its many nicknames, the Crescent City.
Behind the anchor desk are nine vertically mounted panels that form a “storytelling array” that can be used to display stylized cityscape graphics as well as topical and branded imagery from Primeview.
